SAME PASSION
BRAND NEW PLAYING FIELD

By now, you've likely developed a respectable game and a handicap you're not ashamed to mention. Whether golf found you in childhood or became your chosen obsession later in life, you understand both the joy and beautiful torment that comes with every round.

But if the game itself has kept you coming back for more, the concept of a golf safari should have you reaching for your passport as quickly as your clubs.

CHAMPIONSHIP WILDERNESS

Forget traditional golf tours where wildlife is an afterthought. At Savanna Greens, every round becomes a guided expedition through untamed Africa, elevated by world-class safari guides who bring deep wilderness expertise to your golfing adventure. You're not just playing golf near wildlife—you're actively immersed in their world.

Our carefully curated courses deliver experiences found nowhere else on Earth. At Skukuza, you'll play the world's wildest unfenced course where lions have killed buffalo on greens and wild dogs could chase impala across fairways mid-swing (yes, it’s happened). Leopard Creek realises Gary Player's vision: "the pitch shot you might hit over a lake full of crocodiles and hippos is unique."

From the Lost City’s legendary Crocodile Pit to Kambaku's riverside encounters with the "Magnificent Seven" elephant legacy, each course presents its own range of unique wildlife sightings, making this an experience that will outlast any scorecard.

GUIDED EXCELLENCE

Leading our expert guide team is Matt, who embodies this unique fusion of wilderness knowledge and golfing passion. Matt is an avid golfer, who is extremely familiar with the selected golf courses. His rare combination of guiding and golfing expertise will help you understand and appreciate the natural wonders you encounter during your wild games of golf. With his guidance, you'll be able to both 'shoot' and sight plenty of birdies in the bush.

THE CLUB AT STEYN CITY

Jack Nicklaus's 2014 masterpiece spans 90 hectares of former rock quarry alongside the Jukskei River. Home to DP World Tour events, this championship test features 75 bunkers, pristine bent grass greens, and plays over 7,000 meters from the tips. The dramatic opener crosses the river, while the split-fairway 18th with its lake-guarded green exemplifies the power and precision demands. Perfect preparation for Africa's wilder golf adventures.

LOST CITY

Gary Player's desert-style design sits in an extinct volcano's cradle beside Pilanesberg National Park. Wide fairways and strategic bunkering define this hospitable layout, though water lurks on multiple holes. The infamous 13th features a crocodile pit – if your tee shot finds trouble, simply play another ball and move on!

GARY PLAYER COUNTRY CLUB

The 'Black Knight's' Top 10 ranked masterpiece hosts the annual Nedbank Golf Challenge. Kidney and clover-shaped greens protected by cunning hazards demand your finest touch, while dense bush punishes wayward drives. Player's bunker-fearless philosophy permeates the architecture: accuracy and guile triumph over power here.

THE LEGEND GOLF COURSE

In Entabeni Safari Conservancy, 18 different golfing legends each designed a hole at this unprecedented championship course. Stretching 7,748 meters through Big Five territory, it's Africa's longest layout. The world-famous Extreme 19th atop Hanglip Mountain requires helicopter access for a 50-second freefall to an Africa-shaped green far below. Where legends created something legendary.

SKUKUZA GOLF COURSE

Rated the 'Wildest Golf Course on Earth' inside Kruger National Park. This unfenced layout around a hippo and crocodile-inhabited dam welcomes uninvited spectators from warthogs to elephants. The signature 9th across Lake Panic demands precision, while bushveld trees serve as natural "aerial bunkers." More than just golf, it's immersion into the wild.

KAMBAKU

Named after one of Kruger's legendary 'Magnificent Seven' elephants, this hidden gem near Komatipoort winds through bushveld and riverside terrain. USGA-standard cynodon fairways and elevated tees offering river canopy views create serene beauty with subtle challenges. The name Kambaku literally translates to "Bloody big tusker", which perfectly captures this course's quiet power and grandeur.
